Using the app on a daily basis
I need a parking spot for a guest, what should I do?
Ask your neighbors through the app! With just a few clicks, your neighbors will be notified and can let you use their parking space. Simple and quick.
I'm going out for an evening or a weekend; can I share my parking spot?
Yes! Make your spot available in the app. Your neighbors will be able to reserve it while you're away, and you'll help optimize the parking space in your building.
Request and availability, what is it?
When you need a parking space for one of your guests, you can make a request. Your neighbors can then accept or refuse your request. Once accepted, the parking space is reserved for you. An availability is a parking space that you make available to your neighbors when you are not using it.
How to lend my parking space?
Start by adding your parking space in the app, please add an indication to find it easily (number, floor...), only the people you lend your space to will see these indications. Then, when one of your neighbors makes a request, you can accept it by choosing your space that you created previously. You can also make it available so that your neighbors can reserve it if you know you won't be using it for an evening, a weekend, or even longer!
What if my neighbor's car is still in the parking space when I need it?
If your neighbor's car is still in the parking space when you need it, you can get their contact details directly in the app. Parkshare is designed to facilitate communication between neighbors, so you can easily resolve any issues that may arise.
Are my neighbors obligated to accept my request?
Not at all! Your neighbors are not obligated to accept your request. They can choose to accept or ignore based on their availability and preferences. Parkshare is designed to facilitate mutual aid between neighbors, but it respects everyone's freedom of choice.
Setting up Parkshare in my residence
How do I add my parking and invite my neighbors?
You can add your parking for free on the app. Once your parking created, you can generate a poster with a QR code to share in your building, or send an invitation link directly to your neighbors. The more neighbors join, the more useful Parkshare becomes!
Can anyone join my parking?
No! Only the neighbors you accept can join your parking. You control who has access to your car park. Parkshare is designed to foster trust and security within your community.
Does my building manager need to give their approval?
No, your building manager does not need to give their approval for you to use Parkshare. As a resident, you can create your parking and invite your neighbors to join the platform. However, if you are a building manager or property manager, you can also take charge of the subscription for the entire residence, which can facilitate management and encourage greater participation from residents.
How can I contact support if I have a problem or a question?
You can contact our support team directly through the app. We are here to help you with any questions or issues you may have. Just go to the support section in the app and send us a message. We will respond as quickly as possible to assist you.
